Landslide Projects funded by Government Agencies Back to Lanslide Hazard

The excel sheet contains list of landslide projects funded by Government Agencies including GSI. The information is based on the data provided by the stakeholders in the prescribed format shown below (Annexure-I and Annexure-II)

For corrections and modifications if any in the attached list, stakeholders are requested to send a request mail to the Director, Landslide Studies Division, GHRM Centre, "ghrm.gsi@gmail.com"

ANNEXURE I

Proforma for submission of details about landslide projects already undertaken and completed since 2000 till recent (mail to: ghrm.gsi@gmail.com)

(The format to be used for a single project; Separate sheet to be used for each project)

1 Name of the investigating Organisation/ Institute with full address, contact telephone and fax nos, e-mail ids etc.

2 Project Title with id number (if any)  
3 Funding agency  
4 Total period of study with year of submission of final report  
5 Has the report been made available to stakeholders other than the funding agency-if yes details thereof  
6 Aims & Objective of study  
7 Nature and type of study
  1. Landslide susceptibility/ hazard zonation or mapping  (mention scale of mapping; i.e. 1:50,000, 1:25,000 etc or others),
  2. Landslide inventory mapping,
  3. Site specific detailed landslide investigation with/ without slope stability modeling,
  4. Post-disaster reconnaissance study in response to the requests of stakeholders.
  5. Any other type of study

  1. Latitude and Longitude of the study area
  2. Name of the nearest village/ town/ taluk/ District/ State
  3. Name of the landslide (in case of site-specific investigation) (village, road km, Highway/ Road No., Railway line, city, district, State etc),

  5. If possible a location map of the study area
 
9 Quantum of work done
  1. Area of susceptibility mapping/ zonation = in km2, and/ or, area of mapping or study in km2 under site-specific investigation,
  2. Line Km covered along communication routes along with details of Highways/ Railway lines
  3. Number of landslides studied.
 
10 Results/ Conclusions/ Recommendations  
11 Whether the recommendations have been implemented as mitigation measures, if yes, details thereof  
12 Whether the results of the study (e.g., maps, photographs, write-ups etc.) are available in public domain (e.g., e-portal, website, blog, newspaper or e-journals). If yes, details thereof  
13 Whether the work has been published in any journal/ book/ Conference Proceedings etc. If yes, details thereof along with a pdf file of the publication/ report

ANNEXURE II

Proforma of submission of new project proposal for landslide investigation (mail to: ghrm.gsi@gmail.com)

(The format to be used for a single project; Separate sheet to be used for each project)

2 Name and contact details of the Investigator (s) including mobile nos., e-mail ids etc

3 Collaborator if any and the role of the Collaborator

4 Project Title with a disclaimer that the same type work with similar objectives in the same study area has not been carried out earlier by the present investigating agency or any other.

8 Possible stakeholders who will be benefitted (whether the work is taken up as per specific requests of any stakeholder or State Govt. agencies or is it departmentally taken up by the Organisation/ Institution itself); also mention the name of the funding agency
