Marine and Coastal Survey Division (M&CSD) with Headquarters at Mangalore is primarily responsible for planning, programming, deployment of officers and monitoring of activities related to Marine and Coastal Surveys and aspects related to Marine Geotechnical Surveys, Modernisation and acquisitions and coordinating with other organizations working/engaged in Marine Surveys. The Division has 5 operational offices under the administrative control of 2 Regions. They are:
