A national Seminar on Geology, Mineral and Water Resources of Sikkim was held on 11th August, 2006 at Gangtok. The Seminar was organized by Eastern Region, GSI.

Several interesting papers were presented by geoscientists in four technical sessions, namely,

  • Water Resources
  • Environment and Natural Hazards
