• Study of polymorphs
• Determination of cell parameters.
• Thermal analysis (DTG, DTA, DSC) of geological samples.
• EPMA In situ non-destructive chemical analysis of micro grain compositional micrograph together with elemental distribution pattern with the help of X-ray scanning on micron size area. Quantitative data collection on micron size grain enable to determine the elemental composition and accurate stochiometric formula for mineral phase/phases present on the surface area of the sample exposed to the incident beam
